The wall is thickness greater than 3 meters, a part of it has fallen and now is at sea.

One of the oldest churches of Nessebr, which also worth seeing is the Basilica of Saint Mary Eleusa. It is situated on the beach in the north of the peninsula. Long is 28 meters wide - 18 meters and has the shape of a three-nave basilica with three apses and the narthex (entrance) and two lateral vessels have two smaller apses (north and south). The church was located on a landslide, so today only the basics are saved.

Uspenie Bogorodichno Church is very beautiful with many old icons and frescoes restored, you must visit it. Well maintained in the old town are grassy areas, there are many flowers, grass, palm trees ... and it is full of cats.

There are 3 towns (Nesebar, Obzor, Sveti Vlas), 11 villages and 2 tourist complex (Sunny beach and Elenite) in the municipal territory.
